Add On Services For Window Cleaners

Many window cleaners are often looking for more service to add to their business. Some other options may include, blind cleaning, gutter cleaning, screen repair, bird control, pressure washing, awning cleaning, graffiti removal, window frame cleaning, cobweb removal and Christmas light instillation to name a few. Some window cleaners are even starting to offer carpet cleaning and maid service. I don’t recommend adding more then you have too. Only add more services to your San Diego Window Cleaning business if you are not pulling in enough business from window cleaning. However if you are marketing your business and getting good at the bread and butter you shouldn’t need to add a bunch of extra services to your line up.

Some will argue that the more services you have the more you have to offer and thus more jobs. This maybe so but you are not Wal-Mart, you don’t want to be a jack of all trades, instead you want to become an expert in window cleaning who can accommodate customers who just want window cleaning, and do it in a efficient and peak profitable manner. Most people are looking for an expert in the field who can do a great job for the right price. Only a handful of times have I been asked to perform these other services and of course I had to turn them down.

I have learned from my San Diego Window Cleaning business that before you run off and buy equipment for other services such as pressure washing, you should wait awhile and see if anyone is asking for that service. Otherwise you are going to waste money on something that will never pay for itself. Not only this but then you are going to complicate the nature of your business by having several businesses squeezed into one.
